WE UTILIZE THE "PAYPAL" PAYMENT SYSTEM. IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A "PAYPAL" ACCOUNT YOU KNOW HOW SIMPLE AND EASY IT IS TO WORK WITH. IF YOU DON'T HAVE A "PAYPAL" ACCOUNT, YOU CAN CHOOSE TO USE ONE OF FOUR MAJOR CREDIT CARDS FOR PAYMENT.

*Sales tax is ONLY charged for instate deliveries to Connecticut, and is calculated during the check-out process.

Shipping Information:

Alpine Sleds currently ships to US destinations via USPS or UPS. (Please note: UPS is not able to deliver to a P.O. box.)We also ship to Canada. For Shipments to Canada there is a shipping and handling fee of $45.00 per Sled which is calculated at check out. We do not currently ship "overseas".

Any additional services such as "inside delivery", "re-delivery / reconsignment" and "warehousing or stocking fees", which are charged by the shipping company(s), will be the customer's responsibility; Alpine Sleds cannot take responsibility for any charges that are incurred as a result of additionally requested freight services.

Please allow 1-3 business days for your Item to ship. If you'd like to place an order but would like to verify lead times, please feel free to e-mail us at info@alpinesleds.com.

Every shipment is insured in the unlikely event that damage occurs during transit to your shipping location. While cases are extremely rare, damages do happen once in a while. We request that you inspect your item(s) upon delivery. If your item(s) shipped via common carrier i.e. Fed Ex or UPS, simply refuse delivery and contact us immediately for a replacement. For LTL deliveries i.e. Yellow Freight, Con-Way, Road-Runner, etc., print "Damaged Upon Arrival" where you sign for the items and refuse delivery. After delivery is refused, we will file a claim and send you a replacement product. If the product is accepted and damaged, you will be responsible for filing a claim with the proper carrier. For damages unnoticed at the time of delivery, we require that you send us photographs via email within 48 hours, so that we can address and correct the situation. We will send out a new product or replacement part at our discretion.  

If you are not home when delivery is attempted, depending on the carrier, additional delivery attempts will be made. Redelivery fees may apply. If your order has shipped and you are unable to receive your shipment over an extended period of time, additional storage fees may incur. Alternatively, your shipment may be rerouted back to Alpine Sleds, thus incurring fees for re-shipment of your order.

EXPEDITED SHIPPING:

For those customers who need to get their sled in a shorter period of time, we offer expedited shipping through UPS and USPS "Priority Mail". This fee is in addition to the "flat fee" described above.

Order Cancellations and Returns:

Alpine Sleds wants your shopping experience with us to be a positive one. We are happy to offer our customers a simple, no hassle return policy with no restocking fees! In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your item, you may return it to us for a full refund of the purchase price less the actual shipping cost. Please note that the actual shipping costs often exceed the S&H fee shown at "check out". The amount of "discount" applied to your original order will be deducted from your return credit. For example, if we offered flat rate shipping on your order, we will issue a credit for the purchase price of the returned merchandise, but will deduct our actual shipping costs for returned items.

Items must be unused, in their original condition and packaging, complete with all materials. Customers are responsible for returning the item to Alpine Sleds' warehouse using the same shipping method used for outbound shipment. Please feel free to email us at info@alpinesleds.com if you'd like additional information about the outbound shipping cost of an item you want to return. Refunds will be issued once we have received the item and it has been determined to be in like-new condition.

Before sending back an item, you need to contact customer service at info@alpinesleds.com to request a Return Authorization number. Once we receive your return request we will contact you within 24 hours with information regarding your return. All return requests must be made within 7 days of delivery. All returns must be sent insured for the purchase price. If an item is returned with shipping damage, it is the customer’s responsibility to file a claim for the damaged merchandise. Any item marked as "Special Order" is not returnable. Clearance items may not be returned or exchanged.
